Do you sell Life-like have wreaths and garland with lights?
Yes, we have pre-lit wreaths and garland available for purchase. We sell the same beautiful foliage as high-end catalogues, but for less! Our foliage products have 3-5 different pine tips, pinecones and berries - you would swear they are real! The advanced manufacturing process means these decorations maintain their color, flexibility and durability so they will look elegant for years. See all of our decorating products.

What type of lights do you install on the outside of homes?
We offer (commercial-grade lights), classic mini Italian light strands, and LED lights. These lights are available in clear, red, green and multi-colored.

We also offer specialty light decorations not found in retail stores, which hang from your eaves like festive ornaments. This LightLink holiday line will distinguish your home. Choose from snowflakes, candy canes, stockings, gift boxes and more. See our specialty lights.


Do I own the decorations that I purchase from you?
Yes, the decorations that you purchase from us are yours. We store them for you in our warehouse at the end of each season. We conduct a product safety inspection on all products before installation and replace broken bulbs and burnt fuses.



What other decorations do you offer for sale?
We offer a variety of "one-of-a-kind" 3D lawn decorations only available commercially. You'll take pride in your home with our high-quality décor.

When will Light Up Your Holidays install the lights and décor on my house?
We begin installation in October and will continue right up until the 22nd of December. Contact us early to enjoy your lights all season long!

How long will it take you to install lights on my home?
Installations can take as long as 15-30 man-hours, depending on the weather and scope of the project. We pride ourselves on meticulous, straight lines and attention to detail.

Do I have to be home when you install my lights?
No, just leave the work to us! We use timers and outdoor power sources, so you do nothing but enjoy the beautiful décor.

Will you install lights and décor that we already own?
We only install our own products since we are familiar with their quality and performance.

What neighborhoods do you service in the Chicagoland area?
We cater to the North Shore and north side of the city. Due to such a short holiday season, we limit our territory to a manageable area to provide superior service to our clientele. Yet, we sell our unique and beautiful products to everyone.

What should I do if a string of lights burns out?
Maintenance is FREE! Simply call or email us to report maintenance issues. We attempt to resolve the problem within 24-48 hours, weather permitting.

Do you store the products that we purchase from you?
We store all of our clients products in my warehouse.

Do you decorate homes and trees of any size?
We decorate trees that are up to 15 feet high and install decorations on all size homes with a maximum peak level of 40 feet.

Are you insured?
Yes, we have full liability coverage. The safety of your home and our crew comes first.

How do you prevent a fuse from blowing?
For most installations the standard outdoor outlets are sufficient. We calculate the total amps of your installation and evenly distribute the load to the available outdoor outlets. We request that clients have a dedicated 15-20 amp outdoor circuit solely for the holiday lighting to avoid outages.

When do you remove the lights? Do I have to call to schedule?
We begin removing lights promptly on January 2nd. Simply unplug your timer(s) once you no longer wish for the lights to turn on. We have all lights down by the end of February. If needed past January 2nd for a special occasion, we can delay your removal to later in the cycle by prior arrangement.
